Famous German-based tuner Mansory is back on the spotlight with another one-off tuning program carried out on the luxury SUV Lamborghini Urus SE.
However, the tuner`s new project heads in a different direction. Surprisingly, the result looks restrained enough that some observers might assume another tuner was responsible.
In fact, the vehicle has been modified by Mansory itself. The company developed what it calls a Soft Kit for the plug-in hybrid Lamborghini Urus SE. Compared with many past creations carrying the same badge, this one avoids visual excess and sticks closer to the original shape of the Italian performance SUV.
The front section receives several updates. Additional trim pieces sit around the side air intakes, while small aerodynamic elements appear directly behind them. A revised front apron changes the lower portion of the bumper. New fender trim and extensions around the wheel arches further reshape the body, making the SUV appear broader than the factory version.
Moving along the profile, the side skirts attract attention more than any other exterior addition. Even then, the modifications stop short of completely redefining the vehicle’s appearance.
The rear treatment follows a similar philosophy. A wing has been installed on the roof, and another spoiler sits on the tailgate. Mansory also replaced the original diffuser with a new design featuring openings for four exhaust outlets. Two vertical taillights have been integrated into the center area of the rear fascia.
Badging from the German tuner appears on the front, sides, and rear. The exterior package seems to rely heavily on carbon-fiber components. A fresh wheel design completes the visual package. The new rims measure 24 inches and use a two-tone finish combining black with lime green. Matching green accents spread across the bodywork, while yellow brake calipers provide another contrasting detail.
No detailed cabin presentation accompanied the release. Through the glass, the interior appears predominantly black. Small yellow accents are visible in several areas, echoing the exterior color treatment.
The mechanical side receives a far larger transformation than the styling. Mansory lists output at 1,100 metric horsepower. The figure corresponds to 1,085 brake horsepower and 809 kilowatts. Torque is quoted at 922 pound-feet, or 1,250 Nm. Performance figures such as the sprint from 0 to 62 mph and maximum speed were not disclosed.
The standard Lamborghini Urus SE operates at a different level. Its electrified 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 delivers a combined 789 bhp, equal to 800 ps and 597 kW. Total torque stands at 701 lb-ft, or 950 Nm. Lamborghini says the production model reaches 62 mph from rest in 3.4 seconds and continues to a top speed of 194 mph, equivalent to 312 kph.
For a company known for pushing visual boundaries, this softer approach might end up being the most surprising modification of all.
