The famous tuner from Stetten, Bavaria, Novitec, is well-known for its extreme performance and aero kits carried out on the most extravagant supercars in the world. After recently seeing a Lamborghini Urus SE tweaked with an extreme aero package, the tuner is back in the spotlight with another special program on one of the most sought-after supercars in the world – the rare Ferrari Daytona SPR.

The customizations took place at the tuner`s own facility in Bavaria, with other exclusive models to be seen in its own garage. However, this special Ferrari will now be refined as one of Maranello`s most exclusive modern cars ever to be built.

Following the Monza SP1 and SP2, the Daytona SP3 was produced in 2021 as part of Ferrari`s “Icona” family, with production limited to just 599 units. This means that every model built is considered of high value, especially since it came out with an 812 Superfast sourced-out V12 naturally-aspirated engine.

However, a final, 600th example was built specifically for auction during the 2025 Monterey Car Week, with proceeds directed to The Ferrari Foundation, and RM Sotheby’s sold that “Tailor Made” car, finished in a dual-tone black and yellow specification, for no less than $26 million.

Exterior

Among the visible upgrades are new 20- and 21-inch high-tech alloy wheels developed in cooperation with American manufacturer Vossen. The Novitec NF10 forged wheels are described as “produced exclusively for the German tuner by Vossen” and come in a staggered configuration that emphasizes the SP3’s stance. At the front, the setup measures 9.5Jx20 with 265/30 ZR20 tires, while the rear uses 12.5Jx21 wheels wrapped in 345/30 ZR21 rubber. The dimensions remain precise and clearly defined, avoiding any ambiguity about fitment.

Interior

Inside, the cockpit can be “tailored to the personal likings of the owner in every detail.” That phrase sums up the approach rather neatly, suggesting that personalization extends across materials and finishes without altering the core architecture of the limited-production sports car.

Complete Powertrain Information

The technical centerpiece of the upgrade is a Novitec high-performance exhaust system, which raises output by 28 ponies. As a result, the naturally-aspirated V12 now delivers 638 kW / 868 ps / 856 hp. The exhaust can optionally be specified with heat-dissipating fine gold-plating and incorporates an electronically controlled sound management system that enables varying the exhaust note from inside the cockpit. The spectrum ranges from decidedly subtle with the system closed to a V12 engine sound reminiscent of motor racing at high engine speeds and with the exhaust flaps open.”

Even with the additional output, the Daytona SP3 retains its published performance figures of 0–62 mph in 2.85 seconds, 0–124 mph in 7.4 seconds, and a top speed of 211 mph.

Conclusion

Rather than altering the character of the SP3, Novitec’s package appears to sharpen and personalize it, adding measurable power and acoustic flexibility while keeping the core specifications intact.
