Michael Fux, CEO of mattress company Comfort Revolution added a new supercar to his rapidly growing collection.
Michael is famous for buying his cars in custom colors and he even has a signature fuchsia hue originally made by McLaren for a 720S he bought back in 2017 and McLaren decided to name the color after him, calling it the Fux Fuchsia.
The CEO ordered a Rolls Royce Dawn in his signature color a while ago, now commissioning another vehicle in this famous color, the Carmen electric supercar from the Spanish brand Hispano-Suiza.
The vehicle features the vibrant color both on the exterior and on some interior elements including even the carpet.
Hispano-Suiza posted images of how the car will look after manufacturing and posted the famous photos of the Fux Fuchsia Carmen to social media to highlight the level of customization available for the car.
The company claimed that none of the 1.000 horsepower beasts they sell will be the same, every one of them will be customized differently by the customer.
The Carmen was revealed in 2019 and also has a track version, the Carmen Boulogne, both featuring carbon firber construction for the central monocoque and for the body while also having an 80 kWh battery that should give the customer around 200 miles of range.
The company plans to build only 14 Carmens and five Carmen Boulognes in total, the starting price being around 1.71 million USD and the first one isn’t due to be delivered until 2022.
It is just so much you can tell about a man that has made a fortune as a businessperson in the mattress industry. But the Cuban American Michael Fux is just so much more than your average CEO. He is not only managing a company that is making a fortune from helping people rest better. He is also a humanitarian and an enthusiastic car collector. An unconventional one, primarily due to his odd color tastes.
The two are an odd combo made in car paradise because anyone can tell you from the start the Hispano Suiza Carmen supercar is not for anyone. Not simply because of its limited availability, but also thanks to its retro styling.
We understand, Hispano is trying to revive the plan of its inter-war glory years, but the outcomes certainly are not everyone’s taste. Add to the mix this particular color Fux has demanded from the company and you can bet no one will miss this apparition when it is completed and delivered to the rightful owner.
