BRABUS usually gets attention by making already powerful cars considerably more powerful. The company’s newest machine has 37 hp.
Before that number starts sounding disappointing, there’s an important detail: this isn’t another modified Mercedes-AMG. The new BRABUS Urban E Fragment Edition is an electric motorcycle created together with French electric-bike manufacturer DAB Motors and Fragment Design, the brand associated with Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara.

Only 10 examples will be produced worldwide.
And unlike many BRABUS products, this one doesn’t need 800 or 900 horsepower to make its point.
The Urban E uses a 27-kW electric motor producing the equivalent of 37 hp. The more entertaining figure is torque: 475 Nm, available with the immediate response you’d expect from an electric drivetrain. Top speed is 120 km/h, while BRABUS claims up to 150 km of range from its 72-volt lithium-ion battery.
Those numbers tell you fairly quickly what this motorcycle isn’t.

It’s not trying to chase electric superbikes at 250 km/h. It’s an urban machine, which also explains the name, built around instant acceleration and enough range to make daily riding practical without carrying an enormous battery.
What makes this particular version unusual is the design collaboration.
Fragment’s influence produces a deliberately simple black-and-white theme rather than the aggressive red-and-black treatment normally associated with BRABUS. White carbon-fiber wheel covers are paired with white brake calipers, while the rider gets a bespoke white BRABUS Masterpiece leather seat. Fragment Edition graphics complete the transformation.
White leather on a motorcycle may not be the easiest material to keep immaculate. Nobody said limited-edition streetwear culture was supposed to be practical.
The underlying Urban E itself was first shown during Milan Design Week earlier this year. The Fragment Edition takes that platform and pushes it much further toward collector territory.

That’s where the production number becomes important.
Ten units isn’t a normal production run. It’s closer to a design object that happens to have a throttle.
BRABUS is also using the motorcycle to demonstrate how far the company has moved beyond its traditional business. Cars remain the obvious center of the brand, but its catalogue now includes motorcycles and high-performance boats alongside the familiar Mercedes-based machinery.
The Urban E Fragment Edition may therefore be more significant than its 37-hp figure suggests. Nobody needs BRABUS to build an electric commuter motorcycle.
And nobody needs a commuter motorcycle with white carbon wheel covers and a Fragment Design collaboration.
But that’s exactly why this thing exists. It isn’t trying to be the fastest BRABUS ever made.
It’s trying to be one of the hardest to find.
